Job Details
We are now looking to recruit a Student Recruitment Manager to work within the Northern Ireland team. Based in the Belfast office, the Student Recruitment Manager will manage a team of 4 to deliver an annual headcount of around 300 school leavers, undergraduates and graduates across all Lines of Service. The NI Practice has around 2000 employers based in Belfast.Reporting to the Student Recruitment Senior Manager, you will be responsible for driving the student hire agenda in the region. Partnering with key senior stakeholders, you will have an in depth understanding of local business needs and cultures within each department. You will provide expert advice to clients on how your team will deliver their requirements and will use your networks within the wider Student Recruitment team to leverage the expertise in our specialist teams.As Manager, you will oversee the operations process for all student hires into the Northern Ireland office – working with the team to ensure all pipelines are managed efficiently and candidates have a positive experience during our recruitment process.The Student Recruitment Manager will also be responsible for the design and execution of an appropriate attraction strategy that reflects key regional and national strategic goals. You will work with colleagues in the wider recruitment team to ensure schools engagement and campus plans are in place to deliver required headcounts and will drive interventions where necessary to target key areas. You will own relationships with key universities, FE colleges and schools to deliver this and will invest time on campus to directly source the best talent in the market.The role will involve oversight of the wider matrix student recruitment team delivering for all business areas. The role will also be responsible for contributing to, and in some cases leading, student recruitment projects and for contributing to the continued development of an iconic student recruitment function.The Manager will also be responsible for, contribute to and in some cases lead, national student recruitment projects and contribute to the continued development of an iconic student recruitment function.

About the role Operations
Build and sustain relationships within the NI practice to understand and inform annual student recruitment needs.
Ensure the NI business recruitment needs are appropriately reflected in marketing collateral including definition and agreement of selling messages.
Ensure student recruitment targets are agreed and delivered against.
Regular management reporting to your key stakeholders on progress against targets and agreement and coordination of corrective marketing where appropriate.
Ensure resources are committed appropriately to the Student Recruitment effort from your regional business units (e.g. assessment centres, campus and school events, business ambassadors, etc).
Resolve complex problems and escalate as appropriate, whilst mitigating legal, financial and reputational risk.
Understand the recruitment process, supporting the delivery of elements and the systems associated.
Securing and maintaining buy-in and commitment from key stakeholders in the NI business to new and existing student recruitment initiatives.
Work in partnership with internal teams to ensure a seamless recruitment and on-boarding experience for our candidates.
Contributing to / managing internal related projects to time and budget.
Producing accurate and high quality reports on our recruitment statistics, including fill rates and diversity of our hires.
Design and deliver the attraction strategy at NI universities, FE colleges and schools, in line with firm wide and regional strategic goals.
Coordinate, host and resource a wide variety of campus and schools based events – such as employability skills sessions, presentation evenings, brand events and office insight days.
Own the relationship with careers services, student clubs & societies and local schools – advising on firm specific and market-wide developments.
Drive necessary interventions on campus to support the recruitment of the required headcount both locally and nationally.
Complete annual measuring success reviews of campus strategy to understand ROI and inform future planning.
Manage the NI regional campus budget.
Line manage and career coach a team of 4
Act as a role model to both your team and the wider student recruitment team – in NI and nationally.
Ensure your team are resourced and well positioned to deliver on their roles and responsibilities.
