My client, a large housing association is seeking an experienced consultant to help identify, develop and retain excellent high performing colleagues. This will be an ongoing quest to discover and acquire talent and explore innovative ways to supply hard to fill vacancies. You will be responsible for developing the management and apprenticeship programmes. You will support across the business with Leadership development and help build a talent pipeline that aligns with hiring needs and business objectives. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Drive talent management across the business – including talent management plan, supporting the business with talent acquisition, resource requirements, succession planning and people development
• Implement employee engagement and career pathing options with high potential colleagues through talent systems, mentoring programmes, succession planning which support the creation and delivery of our management and leadership development program
• Design and implement an effective and relevant competency framework through the development of Career Path Mapping and Skills Matrices to illustrate and enable development opportunities within the business to enable colleagues to achieve their full potential
• Work alongside the business and People Partners to understand the business requirements and support people development and change programmes
• Build and maintain relationships with educational bodies, developing and implementing entry level employment schemes i.e. work experience, new entrants, apprentices, providing programmes with opportunity to grow and develop our local talent pools
• Review and revise our recruitment process to ensure we recruit to behaviours, experience, potential and capability to support performance measures on how we deliver, not just on what we deliver
• Revise, monitor and support the approach to performance management
