A highly reputable, fast paced and successful commercial company is looking for an Associate People Business Partner on a temp to perm basis. You will be working in a key business area supporting the People Business Partners and Leadership Teams to deliver the people plan and improve performance. You will get involved with ER, culture, engagement, providing coaching and advice to line managers, supporting business change and implementing policies, processes and procedures. This is an exciting role and an excellent opportunity to progress your career.

Working within a professional and collaborative team, accountabilities include:

  • Supporting the People Business Partners to deliver the people plan
  • Working collaboratively with the people function to understand talent, capability & skills to ensure successful delivery of the business objectives
  • Develop Trade Union Relationships and manage ER issues as they arise, coaching and advising line managers to have effective conversations
  • Assisting managers with the recruitment process
  • Contributing to initiatives to increase the brand and reputation
  • Conducting analysis and offering insights to suggest improvements
  • Supporting managers with engagement, wellbeing and diversity initiatives

Skills and experience

  • You must have gained the above HR generalist experience within a professional and commercial organisation.
  • Demonstrate commerciality and a strong knowledge of current UK employment law, procedures and processes
  • Must have Trade Union experience (this is non negotiable)
  • Demonstrate strong communication, organisational and prioritisation skills, excellent attention detail, adaptability and flexibility
  • Good data analysis and reporting skills
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure and a 'can do' attitude
  • Good understanding of key trends in the HR market
