An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor/ Junior HR Business Partner with 3 - 4 years experience and strong ER experience to join a large travel organisation based in West London. The successful Junior HR BP will report directly to the HR Director and work closely with the wider HR Business Partners and Leadership Teams to deliver people plans that change culture and leadership capability as well as maximise employee engagement.

The successful Associate HR Business Partner will have strong stakeholder management, experience with trade unions and confident in their employment law knowledge.

Responsibilities include;

Lead the full employee lifecycle, supporting up to 4000 employeesLead on employee relation cases and partner with trade unions where appropriate

Work in partnership with the leadership team in the development and improvement of colleague, team and functional performance

Coach, challenge and influence business leaders to raise the bar on performance across the function and drive highly engaged teams.

Liaise with the other BPs in Support Services and across Operations to drive consistency across the business and to share best practice

Support the development of the strategic workforce plans for the business unit through analysis of current resource and talent levels, including the future skill demands, in collaboration with resourcing and talent team

Support on Operations and company wide projects

Assist the development of the departments people strategy, through industry research, sharing best practice and by taking learnings from other competitors

Experience and skills required;

Demonstrable business partnering experience with senior leadership teams with a proven track record of coaching and developing individuals, teams, functions to higher performance

Experience and knowledge of all aspects of HR including Employee Relations, Resourcing, Talent Management and Reward preferably in a unionised environment

Experience of working within a commercial, a complex environment

Ability to work with ambiguity, with strong resilience and determination to succeed in challenging business environments

Ability to understand business needs, and understand the way in which the functions interface and interact with each other as well as wider business

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal including experience of presenting and reporting to senior management

Good working knowledge and understanding of HR legislation, principles, policies and procedures and ability to translate this into pragmatic and practical HR advice

A motivated self-starter who has a flexible mind-set for continuous improvement and innovation

This is a great opportunity for someone to progress further into their career. The role has an immeidate need and so will be looking for the successful applicant to be in post by end of October, however are also currently considering profiles on both a contract and permanent basis.
