Senior HR Advisor - Temp

A leading charity / voluntary organisation in the heart of Cardiff with a national reach and international reputation. This organisation provides a vital life-saving service to communities across Wales through their network of employees and volunteers. You'll join their HR team as they grow and evolve their employee services. The Director of People has a fantastic approach to management and you'll work very closely to deliver the people agenda.


Your new role
On an interim basis you'll support the OD programme and actively assist with projects outside of the usual employee relations, recruitment, on-boarding etc. You'll manage a team of 2 and work with them to deliver volunteer and employee services across the organisation. This role will offer the balance between operational HR delivery and opportunity to run some exciting strategic projects and improvement initiatives.


What you'll need to succeed
Firstly, this job starts in the next few weeks so we'll need you to be available! In terms of experience you'll need to be; technically qualified at at least level 5 CIPD, experienced in the full array of employee relations, experienced in managing change, capable of reviewing and revising HR policies, a good team manager. Even more desirable would be job evaluation and pay & reward experience - but not essential. Values and behaviours are also key, whilst commercial awareness is essential, equal to that is the ability to positively impact on culture with key qualities such as being caring, compassionate and always alert to the impact of their behaviours on others.
