Your new role
This is an incredible opportunity to join our client's business within this brand-new role!
They are looking for a bright and talented Recruitment & HR Officer who has experience of contributing to, maintaining and executing a clear Recruitment strategy. The successful candidate will be managing the hiring process for all roles across the business and offer support to the Head of HR on a wide range of people issues and projects and as a dual role will also support HR generalist activities.

Recruitment duties:

Eliciting job requirements from hiring managers and writing job descriptions
Managing job advertisement process in the most cost-effective way
Creatively sourcing candidates through headhunting, screening direct applications made via job boards and by managing the employee referral scheme
Relationship management of recruitment agencies, including candidate pipeline
Managing the selection process, including conducting telephone interviews, preparing shortlists for managers to review and coordinating interviews
Continuously managing process improvements in the recruitment and selection processes
Managing the offer, pre-employment checks and induction process
Making sure all candidates have a fantastic experience with the organisation, from initial outreach to joining the team

HR duties:

Updating and maintaining all HR files
Completing Right to Work and document audits
Taking minutes in HR meetings
HR system administration
Ad hoc administrative and project HR support


What you'll need to succeed
Some experience as part of an HR team is essential
Strong track record of success in a recruitment role (including technical recruitment) is essential
A basic knowledge of HR best practice
Full of ideas, hungry for a challenge & not afraid of the grind
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
Engaging and personable
Well organised and detail orientated
Motivation and drive to excel in a high paced, continually changing environment
Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)


What you'll get in return
A base salary of £30,000
23 days paid holiday per year (plus Bank Holidays) - entitlement will increase every year after 2 years of service
