A large UK independently owned investment managers/accounting practice is looking for a Graduate/Trainee Recruitment Manager to join the business on a 9-12 month FTC. The company consists of 1800 people and a HR team made up of five dedicated teams including Learning & Development, HR support, HR generalist, Recruitment and Reward; the HR department takes a pro-active approach in advising the business and driving forward key 'people' projects.

Working within the recruitment team, the key objective of this role is to deliver the full end-to-end trainee recruitment process for all departments in a timely and efficient manner. As part of the role you will manage a trainee recruitment assistant and lead on trainee recruitment and broader HR projects. The role will suit somebody who has extensive experience at a similar level within a financial or professional services organisation, ideally with line management experience.

Responsibilities:

Trainee recruitment/HR projects

Review and update the trainee selection process, including all necessary tools and collateral.

Creation of a new trainee careers section on the corporate website.

Development of our trainee onboarding and induction programme.

Advise and attend the diversity and inclusion working group as required.

Work with the L&D and HR generalist team on how we develop our trainee population.

Trainee Recruitment Attraction

Manage and update website.

Manage and update all trainee recruitment advertising (3rd parties, professional organisations, schools and universities etc…).

Coordinate university relationships and careers fairs.

Trainee Recruitment Selection

In tandem with the trainee recruitment assistant:

Manage all trainee applications and queries.

Review and score all applications.

Review online testing.

Manage and coordinate all assessment centres.

Manage candidate feedback and offer process.

Trainee Recruitment Administration & Process

Record and manage annual trainee recruitment budget (currently £225k per annum).

Manage trainee recruitment system including updates and improvements.

Work with the Client Services Support Team (CSST) to ensure trainee offers and 'on boarding' process is efficient.

Provide regular management information to key stakeholders on the trainee recruitment pipeline.
