Standalone HRBP - Asset Management

A City-based global Asset Management organisation is looking for an HR Business Partner for their London office. Partnering the Head of Investments and working closely with the global HR team, this standalone role is truly generalist in nature as well as sitting on the management committee.

Responsibilities:

Lead and implement key HR initiatives in support of business strategy and objectives.

Lead recruitment processes in partnership with the talent acquisition team based in the US

Work with the business on people planning, optimising structure and succession planning.

Oversee the bi-annual performance and compensation reviews.

Collaborate on global talent management initiatives

Employee lifecycle administration to include onboarding, promotions, pay reviews, statutory entitlements, talent development and off-boarding.

Advise on all employee relations matters in compliance with the firm's HR policies and procedures, UK employment law and HR best practice.

Collaborate with local leadership on culture and inclusion initiatives.

Understand local drivers of employee engagement and implement strategies to boost it.

Develop and implement HR policies aligned with best practice

Assist in rolling out company-wide projects, such as HR systems change and employee engagement.

Requirements:

Solid tenure as an HR Business Partner in an asset / investment management organisation (ideally) or in boutique global financial services organisations

Proven track record partnering with the senior business stakeholders,understanding business need and facilitating solutions

Strong generalist technical HR expertise including compensation and benefits, talent and performance management, employee relations, policy development and diversity.

Strong understanding of UK employment legislation.

Experience in leading and championing change initiatives across the business.

Exceptional organisational skills and flexibility in approach.

Ability to demonstrate the highest level of confidentiality and integrity, including building trust with employees across the business.
