About this job
As an HR Business Partner at the MS Society, you will be contributing to making MS Society a great place to work. Responsible for providing support to staff and managers in your designated areas across the employee life cycle, you will help us to ensure we recruit, engage and retain great people.
You will need to have a strong set of HR generalist skills, a proactive approach to your work and a problem-solving mindset. Ensuring we use our funds wisely will mean that this is a hands on role so you will manage the administrative tasks arising out of your workload. Great MS Office and HRIS skills (SelectHR or other HRIS system) are therefore required.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR person with empathy with MS Society’s mission and an interest in developing their business partner experience to join a small friendly team providing HR, L&D, payroll, benefits and welfare to our internal clients.
The MS Society is in the midst of an exciting, transformational, period which builds on our great history and will drive us towards achieving our mission and vision as we embark on our new strategy so joining us as an HR Business Partner will provide you with a real opportunity to broaden your experience of HR delivery, OD and change management.
Part of this exciting transformation is an office move to a different location in London. We are currently defining where and what type of accommodation this will be and we really want our staff to be involved in that decision and therefore we don’t envisage a move before Sept 2020.
We are committed to promoting equality and diversity. We would be grateful if you could complete the equality and diversity monitoring form on our website and submit it with your application. The form can be downloaded from here: http://www.mssociety.org.uk/equality-and-diversity-form
Closing date: 5pm on Monday 28th October 2019
Interview date: provisionally arranged for Monday 4th November 2019
