HR & Payroll opportunity with flexible working

Your new company
Our client is a globally recognised household name. They have 90 employees based within their Fleet office in which this role will be responsible. The role itself will report into the HR Director who is based in Paris.

Your new role
This role is a standard 35 hours per week however this organisation does recognise flexible working and will consider candidates seeking 30 hours per week, there is also flexibility offered within the working hours.

Role Responsibilities

HR specific responsibilities to include policies, procedures, staff welfare and the appropriate maintenance of employee records throughout the recruitment to leaver process. Payroll specific responsibilities to include, administering payroll through company payroll software, keeping all spreadsheets up to date, ensuring accuracy at all times. Reporting monthly payroll to the Finance Director.

Specific Duties

Ensure that all matters pertaining to HR and employment are up to date and the business is compliant with current and changing employment laws, processes and legislation
Ensure Company Handbook is updated with any new policies and procedures
Manage employee files and compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations
Manage the maintenance of staff welfare
Recruitment of new staff with Line Managers assistance, Inductions, Exit Interviews and processes. Liaising with Job Agencies when necessary
Monitor staff sickness levels, reporting any trends to Line Managers
Administer the HR holiday system ensuring records are up to date
Produce paperwork for new starters and leavers, contracts, offer letters, resignation letters etc.
Month End Reporting
Administer payroll for 90-100 staff using IRIS Payroll Professional
Ensure payroll spreadsheets are accurate and timely according to salary pay dates
Report monthly payroll to Finance Director for authorisation
Administer the Pension Contributions spreadsheet for our Pension provider

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience gained within a HR environment
Knowledge of recruitment processes beneficial
Previous payroll experience
Excel, Word and Outlook
CIPD Qualification preferred although not essential
