HR Officer - Fixed Term Contract
Your new role
This is a fixed term opportunity from November 2019 to June 2020, to provide key HR support in specialised areas, whilst a member of the team is on Maternity Leave.
The focus of the role for the duration of the contract will be to work alongside the HR Lead for Compliance and Conduct, ensuring timely management of casework (ie disciplinary, grievance, ill health etc), supporting managers and Investigating Officers through the investigation process, ensuring outcomes are tracked and addressed. The post holder will also support the HR Well-being Officer, carrying out absence related case management, liaising with Occupational Health and relevant services, supporting both Line Managers and Employees.
It will be a key responsibility of the post holder to ensure HR policies and procedures comply with up to date employment law, and to provide clear, professional and legally sound advice to the Senior Management Team, Line Managers and Employees on matters relating to employment and people management.
What you'll need to succeed
If you have previous HR experience, an exposure to a fast paced working environment, a strong HR working knowledge of HR processes and systems then this may be the role for you. .
