EMEA Payroll Officer £45k to £48k + Bonus & Benefits - City

A global Investment Bank based in the City seek an experienced EMEA Payroll Officer on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the International Payroll & Benefits Manager the role of the EMEA Payroll Officer is as follows:

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist with day to day administration of UK payroll (ADP)

Liaising with ADP to process payroll across EMEA (France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Dubai, Sweden and Holland) and ensuring funding has been processed within specific timescales

working with Accounts to ensure international third party payments are correctly allocated

Maintaining a high level of customer service, responding to and resolving employee queries

Compiling, producing and despatching employee P11D statements annually

Compiling, producing and submission of employer related securities (former form42)

Compiling and submitting PSA to HMRC annually

Payments to third party providers as necessary

Calculating tax due on stock vesting across UK and EMEA region, processing confirmation statements in HR System and ensuring correct taxes are withheld from employees

Ensuring monthly pension/benefits enrolment data is correctly loaded onto payroll

Candidate Specification

Strong knowledge of UK payroll and legislation

Understanding of Stock schemes

Knowledge of Tax Year End procedures

ADP knowledge would be desirable

Strong communication skills

Team player
