JOB ROLE: Senior HR Advisor
JOB TYPE: Permanent and full time
HOURS: 40 hours, Monday-Friday
SALARY: up to £38,000
LOCATION: Andover, Hampshire
SECTOR: FMCG

Ashley Kate currently have a Senior HR Advisor opportunity available with one of our leading clients based near Andover, Hampshire. This opportunity is offered on a full time and permanent basis.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will essentially be their 2nd in command and you will partner with the wider HR department and support with all complex HR issues, using best practice whilst finding innovative solutions to support forwarded thinking HR.

The Role
This is a generalist, operational role that will have a strong focus on employee relations, retention and recruitment. You will partner with line managers to train and support around the best HR practices and manage upcoming HR projects. This opportunity requires a positive and focused HR Advisor with previous experience in a manufacturing or very similar environment.

The organisation is entering into a period of significant change and so for the right candidate it is an exciting time to join the business. Commercial awareness is absolutely essential.

Key things my client is looking for:

Generalist HR experience, providing HR advice and support
Experience of leading high volume ER cases (essential)
Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation and experience in updating and improving them
Experience within a manufacturing, FMCG or similar environment
Lead Absence and Performance Management
Guide and upskill line management and the wider HR team.
Experience with working with large volumes of employees (400+)
Experience of working within a fast paced environment is essential
Flexibility to travel across multiple sites - no required on a regular basis

The role:
Build relationships with key stakeholders in the business
Manage a variety of high volume Employee Relations cases
Manage all BAU HR tasks
Focus on line management training around absence and disaplinaries and employee development
Update and adapt current HR policies and procedures
Manage ad hoc HR projects
