Your new company
Large Transport Operator covering the North of the UK are seeking to appoint a HR Advisor for a 12 month maternity cover FTC joining their busy, hands on HR Team based in Manchester.
Your new role
Working closely with the HRBP you'll support Manchester, Blackburn & Wigan Locations so travel to other sites will be required ad-hoc to support the management teams with advice and guidance. The role has a heavy focus on ER caseload management and absence support and guidance. You'll be a hands on HR Advisor with excellent people and stakeholder management skills.
In addition you'll manage the recruitment service for your region shortlisting candidates, interviewing and providing feedback.
You'll also have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of proactive HR projects.

ER Caseload Management Expertise
CIPD Level 5
Excellent Stakeholder Management Skills
Exceptional People and Communication Skills
Confident & Proactive Approach
Capability to Manage and Prioritise Workload in a reactive Environment
Ability to perform under pressure to tight deadlines
Confident in providing line manager coaching and support
Experience within a unionised Environment advantageous
