Who we’re looking for

PwC is looking for a creative and experienced senior marketer, with a passion for creating engaging thought leadership, to join its new Audit Sales & Marketing team.

Audit is the foundation of PwC’s brand heritage and as a new line of service (as of 1 July 2019), this is an exciting time to join this part of our business. For the right candidate, there is a huge opportunity to shape our Audit market strategy and oversee the development, planning and delivery of all marketing activities for this large (£750m+) business at a time of significant change and regulatory challenge.

To make an impact you will be self-starting, brave and curious in order to develop a deep understanding of PwC’s audit proposition and the strategic drivers for the business and the markets and complex regulatory environment in which it operates. Your clarity and creativity will bring this well established, specialist service proposition to life in new and interesting ways.

You will report directly to the Head of Marketing for Audit and will be part of the Marketing team within the Sales & Marketing function.

About the Sales & Marketing function

Sales & Marketing is a centralised support function and covers all aspects of professional services marketing, sales support and business development. The prime area of focus for the function is to work with and support the practice in developing and implementing the firm’s market strategy. To ensure we add value, we are committed to ensure

About the rolePrimary responsibilities will be to

  • Provide expert strategic and tactical marketing advice to key Audit stakeholders;

  • Establish marketing campaign plans and overseeing their delivery to a high quality ensuring ROI and that all time and costs are directed in the most effective way;

  • Create written engaging thought leadership content to clearly bring to life PwC’s passion for evolving the audit - including flagship reports.

  • Come up with brilliant ideas to tell our stories and inform audiences about our capabilities.

  • Oversee multidisciplinary marketing project delivery teams comprising specialist from our marketing Centres of Excellence.

  • Develop creative concepts and campaign ideas in collaboration with colleagues across Sales & Marketing and the business.

  • bring the client perspective and deliver the best of PwC to our key audiences;

  • Support the Head of Audit Marketing to establish a high performing marketing team and establish marketing plan;

  • Work effectively with other parts of Sales & Marketing and in close partnership with Corporate Affairs and the Content and Thought Leadership Centre of Excellence;

  • Seek new ways of discovering fresh insight and new channels to market, to better engage with our audiences; and

  • Be responsible for marketing quality control and adherence to brand governance and risk management.
