HR Officer

HR Officer - St Albans - up to £30,000 plus benefits

Opportunity has arisen for a HR Officer to join this commercial organisation based in St Albans. Reporting into the Head of HR, you will be a self-motivated, hands-on flexible HR professional with some experience of working within a similar environment. The role is very varied and you will be involved in employee relations, recruitment, training as well as have the ability to build strong working relationships and communicate across all levels.

Main responsibilities will include:-

- Recruitment including writing job descriptions/adverts as well as looking at different methods
- Overseeing absence management
- Reporting daily on all activity to the Head of HR
- Assisting with graduate training/apprentice recruitment
- Dealing with Employee Relations issues including all requests for maternity, paternity and flexible working
- Inductions
- Updating various databases
- Ad-hoc projects

You will need to be:-

- Ideally CIPD Qualified or working towards completion
- Minimum of 2-3 years HR Officer experience within a commercial environment
- Keen to take on responsibility
- Confident and assured in delivery with all levels of people
- Organised with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
