Job Title: HR Advisor (Regional)
Salary: £36k + £3k car allowance
Location: Huddersfield ( travel to Bristol, London and Oxford)

About the company
Ashley Kate are delighted to be working with a Global organisation who are looking to add a HR Advisor on an interim 8 month contract to cover maternity leave. Please note that the client will only consider applicants who are immediately available and have a full driving licence or the ability to travel regionally.

About you
To be suitable for this role you will have the following skills/experience -

Proven track record of building strong relationships across the business.
A generalist HR background with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, tailored HR Support.
Practical experience of managing complex ER cases including redundancies, disciplinary, grievance, performance management and Sickness absence management.
Resilient and self-reliant with the ability to work in a self-sufficient manner.
Ability to demonstrate presence and credibility when dealing with key stakeholders.
Experience of delivering change in complex and demanding environments.
Excellent organisation/time management skills.
Travel across UK locations is a requirement.
About the role

This role is responsible for providing pragmatic and pro-active day-to-day employee relations support and guidance to Line Managers, covering all areas of the employee lifecycle including performance, disciplinary, grievances, maternity/paternity, absence and restructuring.

Duties to include -
Work in partnership with the business to provide strong professional HR advice and support to the business.
Provide proactive advisory services to line managers on a range of human resources issues, employee life cycle procedures and policies consistent with employee standards, legislation and guidelines.
Provide effective advice to ensure that line manager's guidance is in line with employment law, case law and best practice.
Interpret and evaluates HR policies in relation to people related activities within the employee life cycle.
Liaise with external agencies/ functions such as legal, local union representatives regarding the people issues related to procedures and policies and ensure that line manager's work within the defined policy & procedures.
Manage end-to-end and timely closure of employee relations cases.
Provide support in the delivery of people management training, redundancy consultations, TUPE and organisational design where required.
Respond to complex queries and manage all aspects of issues across the employee lifecycle and support the Regional HRD with their business responsibilities.
Build effective relationships with MD's, OD's and Line Managers in order to understand priorities and objectives relating to employee recruitment and performance.
Manage staff absence and carry out return to work interviews.
Conduct exit interviews as and when required.
Provide support in grievance and disciplinary hearings.
Work with the HRD to provide commercially focused advice and support to Managers on all Employee Relations issues.
Produce Monthly HR report and HR statistics for HR and MDs.
