Page Personnel are working with a rapidly expanding organisation based in Leeds who are actively seeking a HR Manager to join their HR department. This role will encompass generalist HR duties along with answering payroll queries and being directly responsible for the Payroll Clerk. Successful candidates will have a strong background in generalist HR positions in fast-paced environments along with knowledge of payroll processes and statutory payments.

Description

In a fast-paced and varied HR Manager position based in Leeds, roles and responsibilities are to include:

  • Managing all employee relations issues, including managing absence, disciplinaries, grievances and sickness
  • Reviewing the rewards and benefits and supporting employees on this
  • Writing and ensuring all company policies and procedures are up to date in line with current employment law. Ensuring line managers are up to date with changes to any policies
  • Working with senior managers, coaching them and advising on all people issues
  • Managing any learning and development requests and organising training courses for staff
  • Deal with high level payroll related queries, including the tax treatment of benefits, secondments, salary sacrifice arrangements, pensions and overseas employees
  • Supporting Team Leaders with the allocation of work and the management of resources throughout the payroll cycle

Profile

This HR Manager role would suit an experienced HR generalist ideally from a dual payroll and HR background, preferably with experience of change management and with strong people management skills

Job Offer
