Senior HR Advisor

Senior HR Advisor (12 month ftc) - Watford - £Negotiable

Our client, well known in its field, is a commercial organisation that is looking for a Senior HR Advisor (with a bias on Employee Relations) to join the team for a 12 month ftc. Reporting into the Head of ER, you will lead one of three small divisional teams providing expert knowledge. You and your team will on average manage a portfolio of around 30 cases including performance management, capability, attendance, formal hearings and highly complex employment law issues.

Responsibilities will include:-

- Provide a commercial, efficient, professional and customer focused ER service to your stakeholders
- Work in partnership[ with all levels of Managers in order to advise and coach them
- Assess and communicate any risks and/or costs to the business in relations to ER issues
- Effective and efficient case management of your team's and your own workload
- Support the team's development
- Highly competent in Employment Law with the ability to handle complex and detailed issues
- Occasional on site case support and delivery of ER training

You will need the following:-

- Ideally CIPD Qualified or with relevant experience
- Experience of managing complex ER cases in a fast moving commercial environment
- Ability to assess potential problems and make sound judgements
- Confident communicator and strong influencer
- Team focused with the ability to multitask and support your colleagues
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining a sense of humour
