Job Details
An HR professional with experience of management consulting and exposure to diversity & inclusion is required to fulfil a brand new HR Consultant role within a large financial services organisation.
As part of a new in-house HR consultancy team supporting a global operations and technology population, you will manage the successful delivery of HR Diversity and Inclusion projects and initiatives. You will also be responsible for identifying/defining and driving divisional D&I strategy and priorities. You will work closely with HR Business Partners, HR Advisors and other diversity specialists to help design pragmatic solutions to solve business problems, delivering solutions that have measurable impact and add commercial value.
Responsibilities:
Work to achieve a diverse workforce and build a more inclusive culture
Be able to provide oversight to how D&I initiatives align to the HR / Business Strategy and relevant People Plans
Be responsible for effective programme controls and procedures within given initiatives
Effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support achievement of diversity targets and broader group D&I ambitions
Provide advisory and subject matter expertise to HR and business in the development and delivery of their D&I plans
Develop and sustain effective working relationships with HR teams, the business and within the HR Consulting community, demonstrating the ability to operate across the complex organisational matrix.
Take responsibility for defining and planning the end-to-end approach needed to deliver a HR D&I intervention successfully
Manage programme delivery proactively balancing scope, schedule, interdependencies, budget and risks
Requirements:
D&I subject matter expertise required, with track record in leading and delivering D&I initiatives across variety of sectors
Experience of working in an HR environment consisting of business partnering/relationship management with business leaders supported by shared services and areas of expertise
Experience of working as a consultant either in a Big4 or similar environment, or as part of a corporate internal consulting team facing off to internal stakeholders
Experience in transformation/change and/or project management
Relevant project management qualifications and CIPD accreditation (desirable but not essential)
