Job Details
An autonomous, varied role for a HR Business Partner to join a UK leader, based in Eastleigh.
Your new company
My client are a UK leader in their field, boasting a vast portfolio of clients across different industries, spanning the public and private sector.
Your new role
As HR Business Partner, you will report to the Head of HR with 2 direct reports: a HR Officer and a HR Administrator. All 4 roles are based in Eastleigh, so you will have excellent support at a local level.
Key elements of the role include employee relations case work, succession planning and working with/coaching managers to develop people-related improvement plans. You must have a commercial awareness of your influence on the business.
This position will see you work in the office in Eastleigh (and close surrounding areas) approximately 75% vs 25% out on sites - some of which will require travel throughout the UK. You will receive a car allowance and all travel further afield will be booked prior via the travel desk (including overnight stays on rare occasions).
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience in an engineering or construction sector due to the projects and client-facing nature of this role (although other industry background will be considered). Knowledge of construction, building services (engineers etc) and/or installation are important. You must have gravitas and a strong character, confident in your ability to present and convince senior managers of the direction you want to take.
Experience of working with a variety of different businesses will be an advantage, across both public and private sector organisations.
You must hold a minimum of CIPD Level 5 in HR, although preferably CIPD Level 7.
What you'll get in return
This is a great opportunity to join a UK leader in their field, in a role that offers a great balance of support and autonomy.
You will receive a competitive salary of £40,000-£45,000 (DOE), £4,860 car allowance (or company car)
