Interim Head of HR

I'm delighted to be working with a leading global law firm on an exciting Head of HR role in London. The position is to cover a maternity leave for 12 months and is to start soon as possible. This is a integral role within the wider HR team and will provide strategic focus of the Firm's People function with consistently high standards globally to attract, develop and retain top talent.

Reporting into the HR Director EMEA, you will act as the key contact for the London Managing Partner and London Management Committee on all HR-related matters and work with both parties to develop and drive the talent management strategy, ensuring consistency with local market demands as well as wider practice group needs.

You will also need to partner closely with the specialist People functions including Learning, Recruitment and Diversity to ensure the internal and external talent strategies align with the requirements of the business, whilst also managing external vendors and supporting the global development and promotion process in London. Workforce planning, career development and succession planning will also be a big part of this role and overseeing the HR generalist team in London.

You must have managed an HR function within a professional services firm previously to be considered for this role. The role requires someone to liaise closely with senior stakeholders, therefore strong communication and relationship management skills are essential as well previous experience of working in a changing/ambiguous environment. You must be able to drive change and influence, whilst demonstrating excellent organisation skills.
