About the company
Ashley Kate are delighted to be working with a fantastic organisation in their search for a talented HR Officer to join their existing HR function.

About the role
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will play a vital role in providing support HR support for all employees and Managers across the group.
Main duties -
Advising employees and managers on how to deal with HR issues, HR Policy and employment law.
Overseeing the probation process,
Managing ER cases from start to finish, including maternity/paternity, disciplinaries, grievances escalating to the HR Manager when appropriate
Developing and delivering management workshops on a range of ER matters, such as sickness absence management, and investigations & disciplinary hearings.
Supporting the HR manager with implementation of recruitment Policies and procedures.
Attending Recruitment fairs and assessment cent res.
Producing and sending all offers of employment for supervisory and management appointments.
Ensuring exit interviews are appropriately completed.
Supporting the HR Administrator in implementing any employee changes on HR System.
Work collaboratively and in a supportive manner within the HR and Finance team and other departments.

About you

To be suitable for this role, you will need to possess the following skills/experience -
Experience of working with HIRS system, and producing reports
Experience of providing accurate HR advice to colleagues at all levels
Sound knowledge of the principles of Employment Law and its application.
Passionate about providing excellent customer service
CIPD qualified level 3 or equivalent experience
Confident and capable of challenging managers to drive the right business outcome
Experience of handling a varied employee relations case load with a particular focus on supporting managers to resolve performance and conduct related issues..
Experience of running and supporting managers through disciplinary cases,
grievances and appeal
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
Team player with Excellent communication skills.
Customer service focused.
Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
Excellent interpersonal skills
A full driving licence
