This well known and well respected Birmingham organisation is currently recruiting for an interim HR Manager. The organisation is going through a period of change and whilst this is a maternity cover role it is far from a caretaking role as there will be some challenging change projects to be involved with.

Reporting to a Head of HR and part of the HR leadership team you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of strong HR Professionals and supporting and developing them as they continue to develop as a strategically minded HR Business Partner team.
  • Identifying areas where HR processes can be refined and improved.
  • Taking a lead on HR change projects.
  • Working as the point of escalation for ER issues. Supporting the HR Business Partners with complex cases.

You will need

  • Previous experience of managing and mentoring experienced/senior HR Professionals (Business Partners / Senior HR Advisors)
  • Strong ER knowledge and confidence dealing with complex issues.
  • Project management skills.
  • MCIPD qualifications or equivalent.

This is a well established business with some long standing managers and complex structures. It needs someone with the ability to work confidently as a HR Business Partner to senior operational stakeholders and take some of the operational HR load off of the Head of HR.

Salary: £55,000 + Benefits.

Start Date: ASAP / December 2019
