Job Title – Senior Recruitment Manager

Location – Based in Hammersmith with some travel to East London

Salary – £60-65k but may flex up to £70k for a superstar! (10-15% bonus that typically pays out)

Contract type – Permanent, Full-Time

Why are they recruiting for this role?

The HR Director (who has developed an excellent reputation) is keen to maintain a resourcing function that is truly proactive and will have a strategic impact on the performance of the business by improving the quality of hires. You will identify, attract and select great talent for the business and will partner the business to identify what is required, work out where to find people, attract them and then work closely with line managers to select the best candidates.

You will recruit across the business and manage anywhere between 20-30 hires at any one time. They currently have an agency usage of around 30%, so there is scope to improve the number of roles filled directly. This will however, not be at the expense of other talent acquisition initiatives.

What will you be doing?

This is a stand-alone role with some support from an HR Coordinator. You will recruit people across this business and this will be varied. You will help hire corporate roles, as well as those across property development, events, facilities management, risk management and various others.

You will manage the full recruitment process across all of the roles that you handle and you will be a partner to the business in the truest sense.

You will do everything from taking the brief from the hiring manager, proactively search for candidates, post job adverts in appropriate places, search your network, sift applications, interview with line managers if support is required, manage candidates through the recruitment process and handle the offer stage.

You will recruit as many roles directly as you can. You will also develop sourcing strategies that bring the best people into the business, inspiring managers with the quality of hires.

Who are we looking for?

We are not looking for a ‘Steady Eddy’. We want to find genuinely passionate individuals that have not yet hit their peak. You will be someone that is on a definite upward trajectory in their career with huge desire to develop and push on in a global business.

You will be someone who is innovative and challenging and can substantiate the achievements listed on their CV. Our client needs someone that is really commercial and able to deal with a very high level of ambiguity as there are various projects that will require flexibility and a proactive approach. You need to be comfortable going to work somewhere where you will not have all the answers available to you straight away. You will be someone that takes pride in being part of the solution.

Ideally, you should have property and real estate, retail or construction sector experience. Most important is the ability to fill the roles that our client needs you to work on, with the best people and in a timely manner. You will have strong 360 degree recruitment experience with the ability to work at pace with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Stakeholder engagement skills are also key here. We are after someone that seeks continual interaction with stakeholders and has the ability to add value through creative yet practical recruitment solutions.

You should be someone with a real intent of purpose. Someone who can take a vision and really make it happen through great ideas and a desire to see things through to successful completion.

You will not pick and choose the roles that you want to fill. You will be someone that is equally passionate about filling a junior position as they are about those at a senior level.
