Hours: Mon - Fri (9am - 5pm)

Job Description:
Do you have experience in a HR Generalist or Employee Relations role? Are you looking to establish yourself within a lively and ambitious team? Our client is currently seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to join their HR team in the Head Office in Central London.

The role will be fast paced, varied, and would suit someone who likes ER and has a solid generalist background. Ideally, they need someone based in London, who is happy to travel on occasions to other sites within the M25.

What you will be doing:
• Providing our line managers and colleagues with guidance and advice on employment matters, policies and procedures, terms and conditions and employment law related to a specific area of the business
• Providing end to end ER case management support to line managers
• Proactively identifying and implementing HR process improvements
• Making sure that all employee consultation processes are effectively carried out
• Coaching and supporting managers to deal with basic ER issues effectively.
• Assisting in compiling key reports, ensuring that these are driving business decision making
• Keeping all People related policies up to date with case law developments and best practice
What you need to have:
• Previous experience in an HR Generalist or ER role within a security, retail, facility management industry
• Ability to apply the relevant legal principles and risk assessment.
• Experience of supporting organisational change and restructuring programmes including TUPE, redundancy and contractual variations.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to interact across all levels of management
• Ability to work independently and as part of the team (team player)
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Good numeracy and IT skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Excellent attention to detail, able to multitask and deal with high volume workload
• Commercial awareness
