Contractor Recruitment Lead - internal recruitment, up to £50k, Bristol or Cheltenham - 12 month FTC

Your new role
12 month FTC initially. The role would is based in Bristol or Cheltenham, but travelling to other locations as needed, and making full use of technology to support operations. You will be focused on all categories of temporary workers, including agency workers, associates, contractors and sub-consultants. Leading on work force management.

You will provide advice and guidance to teams and promote knowledge sharing and lesson learning to ensure continuous improvement. Advice and guidance will include establishing the relevant contracting route and subsequent considerations (eg outcome based, subconsultant or time hire).

What you'll need to succeed

You would be expected to have a significant amount of experience and proven track record in both the selection and management of supply and contract resources. You will need to be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of employment, contract and tax legislation relating to the engagement of temporary and contract workers -including the Agency Workers regulations and IR35 rules (however would note that we have the benefit of a UK Tax Manager for the provision of advice and guidance). In addition, you will have a sound commercial understanding as well as experience of managing the performance of suppliers. The ability to interact effectively with people at all levels within and outside the organisation, and establish high standards and influence others to achieve them is essential. Most importantly, you need the drive and ambition to take on supply chain and contract resource challenges and ensure improvements.
