An exciting new role is available within a City based Fintech business. The company are a superb success story and are going from strength to strength. Whilst having grown to over 500 staff globally they still have a start-up, entrepreneurial culture and are on a strong growth trajectory.

They are now looking to hire a Recruitment Partner which is a brand new role and as such the successful candidate can really put their stamp on it.

The role will be a combination of hands on recruitment/direct sourcing, managing suppliers and improving overall recruitment capability. It will suit someone who is happy working across a wide range of disciplines, with an emphasis on Technology, Sales, and Operations roles.

The key to success in this role is good stakeholder engagement and management, so we are looking for someone who can really partner with the business on their hiring needs and demonstrate excellent recruitment practices and how this will benefit the business lines and company.

Candidates must come from either a Financial Services or Technology industry and have excellent experience of direct sourcing techniques e.g. GitHub, Stackoverflow, LinkedIn etc.

Additional requirements include:

  • Deep understanding of the complete recruiting cycle, including: sourcing, networking, competency-based interviewing and closing

  • Solid experience managing lateral / experienced hire recruitment, ideally in a fast paced, matrix environment

  • A background in Technology recruitment in the London market; an understanding of agile methodology is preferred

  • Really great sourcing skills. Proficiency with LinkedIn but also with other tools such as Github, Stackoverflow and Twitter for sourcing. In addition, experience using Boolean searching, confident mining job boards, able to construct a well-written job advertisement.

  • Evidence of recruiting across a number of skill sets and sectors

  • Prior participation in at least one cycle of campus recruitment

  • Experience of working with a global population of Hiring Managers, ideally in US and Asia as well as Europe.

  • Experience of web-based recruitment software

  • Managing recruitment data and using MI to inform your own thinking and help influence the business in their thinking about recruitment

  • Influencing and engaging stakeholders to ensure that candidates have the best possible interview and recruitment experience

  • Inhouse/RPO experience only.

  • Excellent project management skills and ability to oversee all details of an end-to-end assignment or initiative
