A superb opportunity has become available working within Financial Services business based in South West London. My client is now looking for a Learning Associate whose responsibility will be to support the Learning Department in their provision of training, learning and career development to the business as a whole.

You will work as an integral part of the team to organise and record all aspects of the training programme.

This will be a busy and diverse role which will require a candidate who possesses excellent organisational skills, can communicate at all levels within a business, has strong Microsoft skills and is a strong team player. In addition, you will have proven experience in a busy administrative role and have a strong interest in L&D.

Role:

Maintaining and promoting the Learning Management System; running the weekly and monthly upload routines and reports proving meaningful and insightful data

Have good up to date working knowledge of digital and e-learning solution design and blended learning practice

Facilitate regular Induction workshops for new starters covering cultural aspects of the firm along with product and technical upskilling

Work in collaboration with the HR Business Partner to deliver the Systems and Product training plan across the Commercial division. Collaborate with Business Quality & Project teams to transform procedures & user guides into learning materials and training events

Provide specialist advice and role centric support across business functions to address learning needs and to assist in embedding the learning

Manage local training and project budgets as required

Monitor and reviewing the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers

Drive the utilisation of the Apprenticeship Levy for client groups; ensuring that professional qualifications are well managed and funded by the levy

Experience:

Experience of managing and maintaining a Learning Management System

Excellent facilitation and communication skills and able to present with credibility to a range of different audiences.

Practical experience of course development and learning intervention design, including blended learning. Forward thinking with a genuine interest in the latest learning and development practices

Enjoys working in a busy environment, is resilient with a proven ability to meet challenging deadlines. The ability to deal quickly and calmly with a range of complex demands

Able to demonstrate an understanding of the full training cycle: needs analysis, design, delivery and evaluation within a commercial organisation

Able to engage and manage external suppliers

Strong organisational and planning ability
