Hanslope Park, near Milton Keynes

At FCO Services, we support government-level customers, including the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, by delivering critical products and solutions that keep information, assets and people safe. Our work presents us with some unique people challenges – and as we set about transforming several key areas of our business, it is more important that we meet those challenges than ever. That’s why we need you.

Drive transformation at the heart of our business

This role involves providing expert HR generalist support to both our Corporate and our Global Digital Technology teams. Your focus will be on change management, talent management and strategic workforce planning. You will play an important role in building the skills and capabilities we need to achieve our business objectives.

Other important areas you’ll be looking at include employee engagement through working wih the business to develop leadership engagement capability as well as team performance and some complex case management.

Use your expertise to engage managers at all levels

This role calls for an experienced HR generalist with up-to-date knowledge of HR best practice and employment law. As a trading fund, we are more commercially focused than other government departments, so a private or public sector background would be relevant. An MCIPD qualification would also be an advantage. A fantastic communicator, with strong influencing and relationship-building skills, you will be able to engage successfully with people at all levels, whether you’re handling difficult situations with individuals or delivering change management programmes on the ground.

And prepare to make a major impact

We respond with speed, agility and innovation to ever-changing security challenges all over the globe. This gives every job here added significance. Yours included. Not only will you be driving the transformation of two key business areas but you will also help shape the HR agenda for FCO Services as a whole. Then there’s all the benefits we offer, whether it’s the perks and pension that come with a Civil Service career, or our excellent support for work-life balance, including flexible working and an onsite OFSTED-registered nursery. In short? It’s your job, bigger.

All our employees have to be security cleared to the highest level, so you will need to undergo a comprehensive vetting process before joining.
