Page Personnel are working with a leading financial services firm in Leeds City Centre who are actively seeking a Temporary HR & Payroll Assistant to for an initial 4-6 week contract with a potential extension of up to April 2020. The role consists of a strong blend of both HR & Payroll duties with the successful candidate preparing monthly payroll change documents along with acting as first line of enquiry for HR queries.

Description

In a fast-paced and varied Temporary HR & Payroll Assistant role based in Leeds, roles and responsibilities are to include, however not limited to:

  • Collating all payroll changes and prepare monthly payroll change documents to be sent to the outsourced payroll provider
  • Acting as first line of enquiry for HR administration or employee's payroll queries
  • Establishing and maintaining accurate employee records, organisation charts, role profiles, and support the provision of key employee data
  • Assisting with all aspects of HR such as recruitment, variation to contracts, managing probation process and communicating with line managers
  • Providing advice to users on HR systems, including resolving or supporting the resolution of problems related to the operation of the HR system

Profile

  • Considerable experience of working as an HR Administrator and working in a confidential environment
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work diligently and proactively with high level of accuracy in all of work
  • Strong customer focus - with the ability to deal professionally with colleagues' queries. Ability to provide basic advice on employment terms, conditions, policies and procedures
  • CIPD level 3 (or equivalent) is advantageous

Job Offer
