Main purpose of the role:

Manage the effective delivery of performance management practices for the business. The role is responsible for the delivery and driving of initiatives to support the delivery of the Global Performance Management Framework across the company, providing specialist input and advice to ensure that a successful High Performance Culture is effectively embedded and continues to develop.

Someone who has had experience at a HR Advisor/Officer/Anaylst Level would be perfect for the role.

Key responsibilities:

Provide specialist advice and guidance on all aspects of performance management activity in EMEA (including probation, calibration and management of underperformance) and related policies in order to execute a robust and pragmatic approach to managing performance across the region.
Collaborate with HR and business colleagues to drive successful completion of the annual performance cycle, ensuring quality of conversations and written feedback and providing analysis to drive continuous process developments and improvements.
Design and delivery of all performance management related training to ensure employees and managers are equipped to take ownership and be accountable for their performance including formal classroom based training in partnership with L&D, and online tools and resources.
Work closely with regional and international HR colleagues at each stage of the annual performance review cycle to provide specialist expertise. Oversee the delivery of performance calibration to MUFG in EMEA.
Design and implementation of all performance related processes, including the design and development of Workday performance modules in collaboration with HRIS colleagues. Responsible for all performance related content and the implementation of new, or revision to existing businesses process in Workday.
Delivery of performance related trainings to employees and managers, as required.
Management of all Performance Management requirements under UK SMCR regulations ensuring high quality performance evaluations.
Responsible for ensuring all performance related processes adhere to regulatory requirements, including but not limited to specific performance management requirements under GDPR.

Work experience:

Essential:

Demonstrated Performance/Talent /HR Generalist experience within a HR function.
Previous experience using Performance Management systems (Workday experience preferred)

Preferred:

Previous experience working in the Financial Services industry.

Skills and experience:

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, able to adapt style and tone to suit the audience.
Experience managing people analytics and strong analytical skills
Strong knowledge of MS Office and competency working with Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
Demonstrates an ability to prioritise a challenging workload and act with urgency, delivering to multiple, sometimes tight, deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a professional manner in a busy environment
Experience with preparing and analysing management information.


Education/Qualifications:

A degree or equivalent professional qualification/experience in Human Resources or other relevant field.
