Job Details

 

An international SME is looking for a strategic and operational interim HRD. Working within a highly collaborative environment, you will be partnering with the business to ensure HR policies and processes are carried out consistently and effectively on a global basis. You will be part of the senior leadership team, translating business objectives and implementing HR initiatives and programmes to ensure these are met. This is a hands on role working within a diverse and forward thinking environment.

 

 

Accountabilities

 

  • Looking at current HR strategies and initiatives and making any necessary changes and improvements to optimise recruitment, engagement, performance, motivation and retention
  • Reviewing and monitoring external providers of services
  • Working with stakeholders internationally to ensure they are compliant with national legislation
  • Supervising and providing guidance to the wider international HR team to ensure they are in line with business objectives
  • Responsibility for a wide variety of ER issues, identifying and mitigating any potential risks
  • Providing detailed reports and insights to the senior leadership team, helping to drive business performance and implementing business strategy.

 

Skills and Experience

 

  • Proven experience as an HR Director within an international commercial company, ideally within an SME.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK Employment Law and experience of working remotely with the APAC region
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills, providing reports and insights
  • You will be commercial, strategic and collaborative with outstanding communication and influencing skills
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
