The Recruitment Manager - Retail division focused role is for a global multisite business and will be responsible for partnering with HR and managers to ensure the delivery of all recruitment activities within Retail. The 9 month FTC will provide an effective service to a high standard ensuring that the business is resourced with high calibre and performing people. This role will be leading a team of 3 Resourcing Assistants

My client are global market leaders in the their field and have a strong international retail arm for which this Resourcing Recruitment Manager - Retail role will be leading a team to ensure the recruitment is run effectively. Based in central Milton Keynes they have parking on site and this 9 month contract is covering a secondment with future career prospects in terms of a permanent position or other contracts internally.

Description

Internal Recruitment Manager - Retail Duties and responsibilities;

  • Identify and execute the resourcing plan for the business, managing the recruitment of talent internally and externally using market leading approaches and ensuring seamless delivery of the resourcing process
  • Defining the workforce planning approach and methodology for the annual resourcing plan
  • Engaging with HR/line management to successfully deliver key resourcing initiatives
  • Managing recruitment agencies including partnership with Job Centres
  • Develops knowledge and experience of competitors, market intelligence and trends in recruitment.
  • Liaise with the Group Resourcing and Talent Management in order to maximise the value Retail can gain from wider Resourcing initiatives/projects including our retail brand
  • Owns any recruitment collateral such as leaflets, posters and other material to ensure in line with brand and policy
  • Provides data on key metrics for recruitment, applicant flow, sources, and quality of talent.
  • Ensures that recruitment channels promote diverse sourcing, selection processes are free of bias and that selection decisions are based upon objective assessment criteria and ensures a quality candidate experience throughout the process
  • Primary accountability for liaising with line managers and Retail Payroll when offers and paperwork are required.
  • Ensures retail/Express selection tools are up to date and fit for purpose.
  • Ensures compliance with resourcing policies and UK legislation managing any sensitive/personal data in line with the companies data privacy rules

Profile

Internal Recruitment Manager - Retail focused role experience and characteristics;

  • Resourcing/Recruitment experience in retail environment and a track record of delivery
  • ideally experience managing or supervising a team of resourcers
  • Use of recruitment tools i.e. applicant tracking system, assessment tools, and talent/attraction methods and approaches
  • Awareness and application of diversity and inclusion principles in recruitment
  • Understanding of retail would be beneficial
  • Team Player
  • Great at building strong stakeholder relationships
  • Executes and delivers end results
  • Exercises good judgement
  • Emotionally resilient
  • Able to be responsive in a fast-paced, demanding operational environment
