A privately owned, growing, insurance broking and warranty business is looking for an experienced HR Manager to support the Head of HR across the generalist remit. The interview process for this role will begin in January 2020 with a start date as soon as reasonably practicable thereafter.

Acting as a Deputy, the HR Manager will take the lead on various projects as well as well as ensuring that all elements of the employee lifecycle from recruitment to development are seamlessly delivererd.

Responsibilities

Manage end to end recruitment process from job definition to induction

Developing and implementing recruitment processes

Ensuring excellent employee experience, through recruitment and onboarding, through to development and progression

Manage employee relations cases from end to end

Project work e.g.TUPE transfers, acquisitions and mergers, GDPR, SMCR

Administer and manage employee benefits and pension schemes

Establish role definitions and lead on restructuring

Support the Head of HR in policy development and implementation of new people initiatives

Work with business stakeholders to develop people plans in support of developing business strategy and vision

Requirements

Broad generalist background with experience of working hands on, in rapidly changing environments

Ideally experience of working in financial services with a good understanding of FCA regulations and SMCR implementation

Experience of establishing and implementing GDPR processes and policies including the cleansing of data and routinely updating in line with regulations.

Experience of setting up employment contracts in other European countries

Able to deal with complex ER issues and provide guidance and support for line managers

Proactive with drive and enthusiasm

Ability to challenge and question stakeholders in a constructive way

Tbetween Docklands and City locations required.
