HR Advisor to join a busy department handing a broad range of HR/ER case work, supporting managers
We have an opportunity for a permanent HR Advisor role in Southampton. You will be working for an HR Business Partner within a defined complex customer group providing a comprehensive HR service to managers across employee relations case work and other generalist HR activities.
Your core responsibilities will include :-
- Handling a variety of employer relations case work, - Grievances, disciplinary, performance, sickness, absence, attendance, complex cases including safeguarding and hearings.
- Working with union members
- Supporting and coaching managers with advice & guidance on policy, process and best practice
- Working with the Business Partners on a range of HR activities including employee engagement, training, job evaluation, policy development.
Were seeking experienced HR Advisor with a core background of employer relations case work within complex environments ideally public sector, NHS or Care with unions / complex case work.
You will need to have a robust nature, an ability and communicate with a range of stakeholders on complex people management issues.
Ideally CIPD Level 5 but flexible depending on experiences of ER case work
Can support further CIPD
Full time role but great flexible environment and team.
