The client are a well regarded global consulting firm. They are seeking a benefits manager to join them for an initail 6 month fixed term contract.
You will form part of the European HR team reporting into the HR Director in based in London. The role will have responsibility for administering and maintaining the benefits programs primarily for UK office, but alongside European locations. You will act as the liaison between vendors and employees, and advise employees on eligibility, coverage and other benefits matters. You will maintaining benefits records and ensure compliance with country laws and regulations.
You will act as the main point of contact for all benefits related activity in the UK and European offices. You will work with 3rd party suppliers and employees to assist in any benefits related questions. You will need to develop strong relationships with the global payroll and global HR systems teams, to assure issues are resolved and necessary system changes are implemented. A requirement for the role is to manage the UK pension scheme and as such private insurance and pension knowledge is key to the success of this role, as is knowledge of other fringe benefits. You will also require a demonstrable track record of dealing with the cyclical processes relating to employer sponsored benefits (private health and pension etc.) Advanced knowledge of Excel is required, and experience of workday is desirable – but not essential.
