Job Details

My client is offering a truly unique opportunity for a Senior HR Manager to play an integral role within a ground-breaking research organization. The people function has responsibility for leading and delivering an ambitious growth strategy which the organization has already embarked upon.

Key responsibilities will include;

Develop a busines partnering approach to support the management populations across the organization

Develop and lead communities to build capability and drive engagement at all levels. This will include structured diagnostics (e.g. Surveys) and informal approaches (e.g. coaching and workshops).

Manage core cyclical activities e.g. Goals and Objectives and Pay Review.

Partner with our Talent Acquisition team on Workforce Planning and Recruitment to deliver the Board agreed scale up plan.

Own multiple projects including

Learning and Development initiatives to design and drive ranging from apprenticeship schemes, through core needs analysis to the creation of a management development approach

Reward: Total Reward initiative to create job framework and accompanying salary ranges plus review short-term and long-term incentives schemes

Change: Plan and help manage the move to our new HQ and accompanying change management around this.

This role is a true generalist role covering all aspects of the employee life cycle. Candidates must be aware that this is a truly entrepreneurial business which is felt in its spirit and culture, it is therefore essential that applicants are able to demonstrate the ability to thrive in this environment. You will have a huge amount of autonomy but with this comes ambiguity and constant change.
