UK Payroll Manager

UK Payroll Manager £50k to £55k + bonus - North London

A leading and global Sports and Leisure giant seek an experienced Payroll Manager to head up and lead their Payroll offering.

Reporting into the Finance Director and with a dotted line into HR you will be the subject matter expert for all payroll, benefits and pensions queries along with managing one member of staff.

The role is as follows:

Subject matter expert for 6 separate pend to end Payrolls along with benefits and pensions queries

Line manage 1 Payroll Assistant

Close liaison with Finance and HR

Business Partner with Junior to Senior Stakeholders internal and external

Vendor management

Payroll Accounting: Balance Sheet, Journals, Reconciliations

Be responsible for all Year End duties

Lead on all Auto & Re-inrolment duties

Responsible for P60s, P11Ds

Look to implement a new payroll system and streamline process's and make improvements

Embrace Change and taking full ownership of the offering

Other:

Have strong Payroll experience and exposure and have fully owned a Payroll offering before

Line management and development of at least 1 member of staff

Strong relationship building internal and external

Strong Vendor management

Have an analytical mindset

Attention to detail focused

Be able to stand your ground and push back

Like payroll accounting

Someone who really wants to change and develop a payroll offering through a full systems implementation along with streamlining process's and making improvements
