Accounts Assistant - 6 month contract

Ashley Kate UK are pleased to be working with our client in London who are looking for a strong and experienced Accounts Assistant on a full time basis for a 6 month fixed term contract, with possibility for this to go permanent for the right candidate.

The new Accounts Assistant must have minimum of 3 years experience in banking/financial services and have exposure to international finance.

The new Accounts Assistant will be working in the clients London offices each day and will cover a range of disciplines, including but not limited to;


·Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts
·Processing of invoices and payments in an accurate and timely manner
·Review and process employee expense claims
·Prepare and maintain accounts payable records and reports 
·Gather information for and prepare supporting documents for VAT reporting
·Daily reporting on cash and fx positions to the Treasury Desk
·Variance analysis
·Preparation of P&L reporting for Corporate Banking and Markets divisions
·Assist the rest of the Finance team during busy periods and provide cover where required.
·Assist with project work, where required. 

You must be able to demonstrate you have been covering all of these discipline sin a fast paced environment.

The new Accounts Assistant will also need to be an advanced Microsoft Excel suer, and a skilled user of SAP systems.

You must also be immediately available or have a very shirt notice period, this role is urgent.
