A true HR generalist role in a fast paced retail environment. Looking for a dynamic and experienced operational HR Manager.

Client Details

Private equity retailer based in South Croydon and committed to improving the lives of its customers. A medium sized business which has continued its rapid growth throughout this year despite the pandemic. Forward thinking, flexible employer with stores across the country.

Description

  • Coordinate HR integration following new acquisitions and manage the harmonisation of contracts across the different businesses
  • Standardisation of all HR processes including payroll, on-boarding and appraisals
  • With the assistance of 1 direct report, liaise with Finance to manage the payroll function for the retail stores.
  • Provide clear and concise reporting, including attendance, employee turnover, sickness and grievances
  • First point of contact to manage employee relations, such as dispute resolutions, disciplinaries and grievances
  • Provide first line advice on current and existing benefits for employees and managers
  • Manage, coach and advice senior managers on performance management, development and succession planning

Profile

  • Proactive, confident and resilient HR Manager who is comfortable with a constantly changing environment
  • Strong operational HR generalist with commercial acumen
  • Experience within a fast-paced retail environment is highly advantageous
  • Experience successfully managing acquisitions and TUPE is essential to be successful in this role
  • Ability to demonstrate senior stakeholder management and influencing skills

Job Offer

£50,000-£55,000 per annum
