HR Manager - Wakefield - 30-35k

Our client is a successful SME business with a long history, based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, and are easily commutable from Wakefield, Leeds, Pontefract and Castleford areas.
Your new role
As the stand alone HR Manager at the Head Office, you will be responsible for providing a full human resources service to the business, giving pragmatic and commercial HR advice, support, guidance and coaching on all people matters, in addition to all HR related administration and analysis. You will support approx 300 employees across a number of different sites in the North of England, requiring occasional travel. This is a busy and varied HR generalist role, where no two days will be the same. This would suit a HR Advisor or HR Manager who has worked in a stand alone position previously, either as HR Officer or Senior HR Advisor, who is ready for the next step in responsibility.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for the new HR Manager to have significant previous HR generalist experience including redundancy & restructure, employee relations, recruitment and payroll administration. A CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) qualification is desirable.
