Talent Development Specialist with a global NfP organisation (global remit of 1,000 people)

Brand new, permanent role - Central London - salary up to £67,000

Client Details

My client is a global philanthropic organisation, funding independent groups that strive and advocate for justice, democracy and human rights in over 120 countries.


- Design, implement and manage complex and concurrent Talent Management / Development programmes for a global remit (1,000 people)

- Manage projects to define and enhance the employee experience, by developing competency models, career path guidance, mentoring resources, and skills-training offerings

- Design training content and adapt it for delivery across multiple platforms. Develop and deliver presentations, e-learning, and workshops to communicate Talent Development policy, practice and offerings

- Manage targeted requests for professional skill development - assess needs and make recommendations for training, coaching, mentoring and other development methods
- Create and manage data analytics and report on the impact of the programs implemented, integrating data from various sources and communicating key results, themes and trends over time;
- Project manage additional talent development projects, as requested based on the ongoing evolution of the team and its work;
- Overall, become a trusted advisor to various staff communities and an Ambassador for Talent Development and HR.


- 7-10 years of relevant experience

- Demonstrable record of designing, implementing and managing complex and concurrent Talent Management / Development programmes within organisations of 500+

- This will include designing training content and adapting it for delivery across multiple platforms (including digital platforms / e-learning)

- Strong Project Management experience - specific to Talent Development

- Proficient in data compilation, analytics and systems

- In-depth understanding of Organisational Development / Psychology, Talent Analytics and HR Management

- Background in a similar sector and / or complex international settings

- Knowledge and application of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace

- Shares the organisation's values, understands global issues and how these impact the mission of the organisation

- Able to travel internationally (up to 25% in 'normal' times)

- Ideally Workday experience and working with a Learning Management System (LMS)
