My client is seeking an experienced and thriving Personal Assistant to report directly into their CEO. This office based role is in the Birmingham area.

Client Details

My client is a hugely successful FTSE 250 professional services business with a multitude of offices recruiting for Personal Assistant to the CEO.

Description

  • Assists the CEO with daily administrative duties and completes a broad variety of administrative tasks that include managing an active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries and agendas and compiling documents for meetings.
  • Communicates with the general staff on the CEO's behalf and coordinates logistics with high-level meetings both internally and externally.
  • Coordinates meetings and strategic activities.
  • Conducts research on prospective corporate and foundation donors to identify and evaluate current needs and assembles materials needed for the proposals.
  • Drafts reports, letters of solicitation, proposals; prepares and coordinates oral and written communication with donors and prospects.
  • Supports CEO in their external commitments.
  • General Administrative duties.

Profile

The successful Personal Assistant to CEO will have the following experience:

* Strong experience as a Personal Assistant is a necessity
* Previous experience as a Personal Assistant to CEO or board directors
* Previous experience working for a PLC company
* Highly organised
* Ability to stay late occasionally
* Self sufficient
* Excellent communication skills
* Able to multi task
* Discretion and trustworthiness: you will often be party of confidential information
* Flexibility and adaptability
* Good oral and written communication skills
* The ability to be proactive and take the initiative
* Tact and diplomacy
* A knowledge of standard software packages and the ability to learn company-specific software if required.
