Client Details

We are excited to be recruiting for our client's new £50m, state-of-the-art, 700,000+ sq ft warehouse and distribution facility in Northamptonshire.

The client is a £200m turnover distribution business operating across the UK and internationally.

Description

  • Develop and deliver the People strategy in conjunction with the leadership team across your site
  • Day to day business partnering with DC Leadership team
  • Work collaboratively with your counterparts nationally
  • Analyse management information to help shape business priorities and highlight trends
  • Proactively drive positive employee relations to reduce the incidence of disciplinaries, grievances and absence
  • Form an active part of the site leadership team to ensure the smooth daily operation of the site
  • Support the coaching and development of line managers to recruit, retain and manage their direct reports
  • Support and facilitate the Development Programme working closely with learning & development resource
  • Monitor and drive employee engagement to enhance the EVP and reduce incidence of absense and ER casework

Profile

  • Strong HR experience across blue collar sectors including Logistics / Distribution / Warehousing
  • Current knowledge and understanding of UK employment legislation
  • Full generalist experience in a business partnering role, covering employee relations, recruitment & retention, employee engagement, talent development, pay and reward
  • The ability to assimilate business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business performance, productivity and the development of HR within the business
  • Experience of rapid and complex changing work environments
  • Coaching and mentoring at Leadership levels
  • Success in creating and driving effective resourcing, development, process improvement and change programmes that build business performance
