Job Details
Fantastic opportunity to join a national organisation offering excellent benefits. The company are currently looking for an experienced Part Time HR Advisor to cover a period of maternity leave for 9-12 months.
Client Details
The client is looking for experienced HR Advisors to join them on a 9-12 month FTC based in Hemel Hempstead. Candidates must be able to work 30 hours per week, ideally based in Hemel Hempstead unless public guidance changes. The role is an immediate start so candidates must be available to start in October. Candidates must have extensive generalist HR background as the role will cover Employee Relations, Recruitment, Onboarding etc.
Description
Ensuring the operational success and development of the HR department, working closely alongside senior site management.
Providing guidance on HR policies and processes.
Heavy involvement in matters of employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance issues.
Providing an efficient internal customer service to managers and employees.
Assist the HR Manager and General Manager in developing and driving the site people plans.
Absence management.
Delivery of induction training for new starters, consistently updating welcome pack information.
Ensuring all elements of HR administration are carried out - e.g. starters, leavers, referencing, security and compliance checks, etc
Assist with all aspects of recruitment and selection on site.
Maintaining accurate and up-to date information on the HR system.
Weekly/Monthly management reports.
Responsibility for various ad-hoc HR and Administrative tasks.
Profile
Ideally CIPD qualified, with confidence to cover a standalone role. Extensive experience with Employee Relations to be able to confidently advise managers on processes in line with company policy and UK employment law. Immediately available and local to Hemel Hempstead. Able to work 30 hours a week (working pattern can be flexible but must be able to work on site in Hemel Hempstead).
