Are you immediate HR professional seeking a HR Advisory opportunity? This diverse, fast paced and developing public sector organisation are currently seeking a skilled HR Advisor with strong employee relations experience and the ability to support a complex service with over 3000 employees on a 3-6 month contract basis.
Your new role
Reporting into the Senior HR Business Partner for the Lancashire and Cumbria service you will manage complex and diverse casework across a complex service. As an HR Advisor you will have a key role in providing managers within designated business areas with appropriate support and guidance, ensuring the provision of a high quality and effective HR service and practice in line with National Strategies that supports and drives continuous and improved performance.
This opportunity will offer remote working with occasional travel to services within Preston and Blackpool.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, effective time management skills, and strong organisational and interpersonal skills in order to deliver an efficient and professional service to all of our stakeholders.Y
You should have a good understanding of employment legislation, public sector processes/ terms and conditions of employment and HR Best practice. Experience of managing sickness absence in addition to performance and disciplinary issues would be advantageous.
