Diversity & Inclusion Manager - Lincoln/Newark or South Yorkshire area - £40000 to £50000 DOE

Your new company
This is a multi-site organisation with 1st class core values who are going through an exciting period of change. They have several sites in the UK - a large number in the Lincolnshire/Nottingham and South Yorkshire regions; and are looking to further develop their culture with the addition of a Diversity & Inclusion Manager.

Your new role
This is a BRAND NEW new role to the organisation; where you will be responsible for organisational diversity and Inclusion cultural improvements across the Group.
This will be achieved by identifying and evaluating opportunities and implementing solutions to improve organisational culture and overall staff experience.

Reporting to the HR Director and working closely with the HR team, you will be responsible for ensuring that diversity agendas are successfully implemented in line with businesses objectives, but also understanding external trends and transferring these to improve diversity of the workforce and the business.
You will recognise, create and implement plans to promote D&I within the organisation - and a significant part of that is promoting and developing training programmes to enhance employee understanding on inclusions issues; whilst also ensuring the organisation follows appropriate legislation and employment law regulations around bias and inclusion.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will have a background in Equality, Diversity & Inclusion methodologies and implementation as the organisation wants you to set the agenda and make recommendations.
Also learning & development (creation and delivery) skills/experience to then put your plans "into action"; KPI reporting and Executive team/Senior Stake Holder management.

There is flexibility in hours and location (open to North or Southern based) with remote working available - some travel to the HQ in the Lincolnshire area is required however, aswell as South Yorkshire.
