Lead a team of 14 with two direct reports. Assist with the strategic development of HR and implementation of change.

A well known entity that is well respected and in the finance sector. Based in East Sussex, the company are going through a transformation of their HR function as well as other change projects in the business.

Description

  • Manage two HR leads who have responsibility for the day to day operations of their functions (Recruitment, Operations and MI; HR Business Partnering)
  • Work with HR Management Committee to evaluate and improve the employee experience by developing and implementing policies and procedures which align to the culture and values
  • Work with the Senior HRBP Lead to enhance and embed a strategic business partnering model of which the primary role is to collaborate, influence and enable business leaders and their teams to deliver their priorities
  • Review and enhance the employee relations capability within HR and across the organisation, ensuring the policies are fit for purpose and up to date with employment legislation
  • Work with HR peers and team to review and improve the service value proposition which meets the needs of the organisation and delivers effective and efficient solutions to all users
  • Review existing HR systems and technology, recommending improvements including digital solutions that will assist the strategic HR agenda and enable continuous improvement

Profile

  • Leadership and management experience
  • Identifying and improving policies and procedures and ways of working
  • Experience of developing/contributing to HR strategy and interpreting strategy into action at an operational level
  • Oversight and experience of managing complex HR projects
  • Stakeholder management
  • Experience of managing and overseeing complex employee relation cases and tribunals
  • Working with unions and employment lawyers
  • Experience of process improvement (LEAN methodology or similar)
  • TUPE experience
  • Coaching and development of HR team

Job Offer

£75,000 - £80,000 plus benefits for 12 month FTC
