Contract Review Specialist

3 Month Temp

An exciting company are looking for you to come in and work within their HR function. You will be providing legal and contracts advice, providing guidance and support to colleagues seeking to enter into agreements, undertaking drafting as necessary.

The role is initially on a 3 month basis with the possibility to go permanent. It is paying up to £200 a day based on experience.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Lead on review and draft of global contracts and other agreements relating to CIMA and management accounting, including analysing terms of contracts, non-disclosure and other agreements and assessing suitability for the company and providing redrafts where necessary.

Advise global entities on contracts and other agreements.

Provide advice and guidance on terms and clauses to be used in contracts and agreements.

Ensuring terms of contracts and other agreements are legally permissible and compliant

Co-ordinate and obtain legal advice, where applicable, on areas relating to contract terms.

Maintain accurate records of agreements and contracts, including logs of renewals and advising colleagues ahead of renewals.

Support the development of contract and agreement templates.

Developing and rolling out contract and agreements policies.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

Knowledge of contract law and ability to provide advice and guidance on contract terms.

Ability to take responsibility and be accountable for areas of responsibility and manage competing priorities.

Critical thinker with strong analytical skills and ability to grasp detail.

Strong drafting skills.

Strong influencing and negotiation skills.

Ability to take responsibility and be accountable for areas of responsibility and manage competing priorities.

Strong, articulate and excellent inter-personal communication and presentation skills.

Proficient stakeholder management skills at all levels with confidence and professionalism.

Self-motivated; organised; adaptable and flexible; ability to work in demanding environment.

Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education

Degree qualified and or equivalent qualification in contract law.

At least 3 years contract experience.

Capable and collaborative individual, able to achieve outcomes and meet challenging objectives.
